I’m Tanya, a family and portrait photographer based in Dubai, UAE. My camera is my storyteller, capturing genuine, unscripted moments reflecting the essence of families’ and individuals’ lives.

I create digital, film, and mobile content. I love to come up with lifestyle concepts and ideas and play with light and colors in my work.

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine but moved with my family to sunny Dubai in 2015.  I have two beautiful daughters who are the greatest inspiration for me.

My dad always carried a camera, whether we were indoors or out for a walk. Sometimes, his friends would come over to take photographs and videos. My mom was never ready for the camera—either she was too tired or too busy, or simply not in the mood. But that never stopped my dad. His camera was always in his hands. And you know what? I feel so grateful for that.

When I look at these photographs, I somehow see myself as a kid on the other side of the lens—little Tanya sitting in a chair or hiding under the bed.

By looking back, we start looking forward to a brand-new day. We know who we were and who we’ve become.

Is it worth documenting? Yes, it is. Any day is part of our life, and it’s worth documenting and remembering.
